Nuremberg, October 09, 2025 (sr): Aero-Dienst, the German full-service provider for business aviation and air ambulance services, has announced the acquisition of Swiss company AeroVisto Interior Services. For Aero-Dienst, as a 100% subsidiary of ADAC SE and with decades of experience in the fields of maintenance, ambulance services, aircraft management, corporate services and consulting, this step represents a clear signal of its international growth strategy. The integration of AeroVisto Interior Services into Aero-Dienst’s operation is a targeted move to supplement its portfolio in a dynamic market environment.

This strategic merger is built on a partnership between the two companies that has developed over many years. Through this acquisition, Aero-Dienst will benefit from added expertise in the areas of cabin design, refurbishment, upholstery, and component maintenance, which increases its capacity to provide comprehensive support throughout the service life of a business jet. AeroVisto employs 80 people at its sites in Switzerland and Germany, and it is certified both as an EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organization and as an EASA Part-21G Production Organization—two standards that underline the company’s high degree of technical expertise. This means that the expanded portfolio will strengthen Aero-Dienst’s position as a full-service solution provider along the entire length of the business aviation value chain.

In addition to technical synergies, the matching corporate cultures of the two companies greatly influenced Aero-Dienst’s selection of partners. They have a shared conviction that their employees represent the core ingredient for sustainable success. “This acquisition is a logical next step in our long-term strategy,” explains Aero-Dienst CEO André Ebach. “We are expanding our European presence, developing our portfolio, and deliberately investing in sustainable and forward-looking growth. With AeroVisto we are not only gaining more exceptional technical expertise, but also passion, integrity, and clearly defined values—which are exactly the qualities we need to shape the next generation of service provision in our sector.”
André Ebach and Dr. Oliver Kosing will become members of AeroVisto’s Board of Directors and actively supervise the integration at the strategic level. Dr. Oliver Kosing, Co-CEO of Aero-Dienst, adds: “For us, the acquisition of AeroVisto is more than just a step towards growth—it is specifically intended to increase our depth of added value. With the additional competence in the field of interiors, in the future we will be able to offer our customers even more comprehensive solutions, further enhancing our role as a strategic partner. Together with the existing team, we are looking forward to actively shaping the future.”

At AeroVisto, there is a similar sense of enthusiasm and confidence about future collaboration with Aero-Dienst. “For me, the sale of AeroVisto to Aero-Dienst isn’t like saying farewell—it’s simply the logical next step in my life’s work,” says Hermann Bauer, co-founder, Managing Director and COO of the AeroVisto Group. “For decades, Aero-Dienst has set the standard for reliability, quality, and core values such as loyalty, fairness, and transparency. These are values that have been put into practice at AeroVisto right from the start and have contributed significantly to its success. Our colleagues, customers, and partners can be sure that what we find important—excellence, customer proximity and a working environment that values the human element—will remain in the best possible hands.”

AeroVisto is bringing all-round competence in interiors, and it thoroughly understands the needs of demanding customers—a combination that will provide inspiration for joint future efforts. Carsten Matthiesen, co-founder and Managing Director & CCO AeroVisto Group, adds: “Together with Aero-Dienst we will open up new opportunities for AeroVisto, while at the same time ensuring long-term continuity in alignment with our DNA. I’m certain that this step will allow us to develop the full potential of the company and continue our corporate success story.”

“The successful conclusion of the transaction represents the start of a new chapter in the development of both companies,” explains André Ebach. “We are delighted that both Hermann Bauer and Carsten Matthiesen will remain active in their CEO roles and continue to guide operations with 100% responsibility and commitment. That is a powerful indicator for continuity, trust, and common growth.”

In addition to its headquarters in Nuremberg, Aero-Dienst also operates stations in Austria (Vienna, Klagenfurt) and a maintenance station in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich that was set up four years ago. Its component shop in Landsberg am Lech allows Aero-Dienst to provide fast and local repairs for maintenance operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
