Nuremberg, April 18, 2024 (sr): Aero-Dienst GmbH, the Nuremberg-based full-service provider for business aviation and air ambulance services, has extended its ASC contract with Dassault for a further 3 years.

Since becoming a Dassault Authorized Service Center 17 years ago, Aero-Dienst has handled all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work for its European customers on the French aircraft manufacturer’s Falcon series aircraft, as well as repair services under warranty and FalconCare® programs. It also provides engine services (P&WC Designated Maintenance Facility, Honeywell Major Mobile Channel Partner) and implements service bulletins and modifications. Aero-Dienst’s range of offerings is rounded out by worldwide 24/7 AOG (aircraft-on-ground) service, including a mobile repair team.

Originally awarded in 2007, the ASC status applies to the main location in Nuremberg, which was established as a Heavy Service Center, and since 2017 it also includes the maintenance line station in Vienna, which is mainly focused on short downtimes and rapid customer support. “We are delighted that our long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with Dassault has led to an extension of the ASC contract,” says André Ebach, Managing Director of Aero-Dienst. “This recognition of our work means a great deal to us, and it has primarily been earned by our highly competent and flexible Falcon team that serves our Falcon operators with great dedication every day,” says André Ebach appreciatively, adding that “Florian’s career with Aero-Dienst highlights the value of our long-standing employees for our company.”

Aero-Dienst GmbH recently appointed Florian Heinzelmann as Head of Maintenance. In this role, he replaces André Ebach, who is focusing on the position of CEO.

Florian Heinzelmann joined the company back in 2002, starting his career as a trainee aircraft mechanic. In 2011, he took on responsibility for the Falcon maintenance team, where he played a major role in developing the range of maintenance services offered and gaining new customers. His excellent rapport with the highly-skilled and competent technicians and engineers formed the basis for today’s Falcon maintenance portfolio at Aero-Dienst. In 2021, he also supervised the Bombardier maintenance team until he was appointed as Maintenance Manager in 2023.

“His leadership skills and commitment to the highest quality standards make him the ideal candidate for this important post,” confirms André Ebach.  Florian Heinzelmann adds: “I appreciate the confidence placed in me, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to contribute to the steady development of our service portfolio for our maintenance customers.”

In addition to its headquarters in Nuremberg, Aero-Dienst also operates stations in Austria (Vienna, Klagenfurt) and a maintenance station near Munich in Oberpfaffenhofen. The component shop in Landsberg am Lech allows Aero-Dienst to provide fast and local repairs for maintenance operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
